Nebraska City Historical Society invites you to a special historical presentation on Thursday, January 24, at 7 pm in the basement of Arbor Bank at 911 Central Avenue. Entrenched with the Rattlers: Colonel William Hayward, the Old 15th, and the First World War presented by Dean Shissler covers the life and career of Nebraska City native William Hayward, his involvement in the African American regiment movement in New York, and his command of one of the most famous regiments of the war, Harlem’s Hellfighters. This presentation is FREE to the public.
